Terms of Membership
Last updated: 1 October 2026.
The club
Nineteenth Club is an invitation-only community that helps golfers in business meet and arrange rounds. We introduce members; we are not a party to any meeting or agreement between them. We may accept, waitlist or decline any application, and we do not have to give a reason.
No pitch, guaranteed
Members must not sell to, solicit or pitch other members through the club or at a round. Messages are checked automatically for pitches, and the membership committee reviews anything flagged. Breaking this rule can end a membership.
No pay to play
No one can pay for an introduction, placement, invitation or badge. Do not offer or ask for payment to be introduced or matched.
Your conduct
Give accurate information, including your LinkedIn profile. Be respectful, play at a reasonable pace and follow each course's rules. No harassment, discrimination or spam. We may suspend or remove members who break these rules, and will tell them why unless the law or safety says otherwise.
Dues and payment
Membership is free during the founding period (until 30 June 2027 or the 500th member, whichever comes first). After that, dues are set by the club's rules, which members change by vote: currently Standard $249 a year (or $24.90 a month), Rising $99 a year for members under 30 or in the first two years of a career, and Founding members keep a locked $149 a year while their membership stays continuous. Patron is an optional $750 a year that funds sponsored seats and buys no advantage. A sponsored seat is free and is granted by the committee. Paying never buys admission, priority or placement.
Payments are taken by Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel in the billing portal. If a payment is missed there is a 30-day grace period, after which your membership pauses: you can still sign in, pay and invite, nothing is deleted, and paying resumes it at once. Price increases for existing members need 90 days' notice. Taxes may apply.
Refunds: [refund policy to be settled with counsel before dues begin].
Invite codes
An invite code admits one person you vouch for. You are responsible for who you invite. Codes may be withdrawn if a membership is suspended.
Meeting in person
You decide whom to meet and are responsible for your own safety and conduct. Golf involves risk. You are responsible for following your employer's rules on gifts, entertainment and conflicts of interest, and any laws that apply to you, including anti-bribery rules.
Course information
Course locations come from Google. Details such as par, yardage, rating and slope may be estimates and can be wrong. Confirm with the course before you travel.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time from your Profile. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens at or because of a meeting arranged through it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell members of material changes by email. Governing law and venue will be set out here once the club is incorporated.
